My computer was hit by lightening and fried the modem. Everything else seems to work.
I have purchased another modem from Dell. However, when installing new modem I can not
find com 2 port on my computer!

It gives me com 1 option and ECP Printer Port from which to choose. I'm sure the old
modem was under com 2. I can't get new modem to work under com1.

Could the lightening have zapped my com2? I have reinstalled Win98 in all of this and com2
is still not listed.
