I was wondering if it's possible to get an msata ssd to work properly as OS boot disk on a Latitude E5540.

The manual mentions that msata is not supported in combination with both a discrete graphics card and express card I/O.

In my configuration, both a GT 720M and a smartcard reader are present. However, would it still be possible by removing (or somehow disabling) the smartcard reader?
