P2418D, headache + eyestrain
Hi folks,
After researching a lot solutions so far on the internet, I can't overcome the headache and eyestrain on my Dell P2418D. When I look at the screen, my headache starts immediately after some seconds. I never have this symptom before with my old monitors. So far I have tried these:
- Calibrating brightness, contrast
- Always in comfort view mode but still hurt and seems that there is no difference when I do switching or not.
- Sitting very far from the monitor. (the distance is from my hand to arm)
- My friend also experiences the same issue with this monitor.
I bought the monitor in 2019 and that time I was too lazy to return it as I think I would get adapt to it, but unfortunately no. So I put the monitor in the storage for years and now just have time to decide what to do with it.
What should I do next?
More information about the setup I use: I use a MacBook Pro 15" and with the MacBook screen I have no issue, only with monitor.
Also I tried using this monitor with desktop PC and still the same issue happens.
So, I guess the issue is not OS related, but only the monitor or my eyes.
Thanks
