S2721DGF, USB->Off During Standby does not work

Hello,

I connected built-in monitor USB hub to my regular mobo USB port. Then, I plugged some (USB-powered) device into USB port in Dell monitor. Everything works fine, USB hub distributes power.

By setting option Personalize->USB->Off During Standby, I hoped that 3rd party device will shut down every time my monitor goes standby mode. Unfortunately, it is still powered via Dell's USB port.

Let me add that once I press Dell power button (so turning it off) the other device goes power down. However it is not helping me as it makes no sense to exchange pressing power button on 3rd party device (what I am doing right now) with pressing button on the monitor. Also, I need to have power on mobo enabled during standby. That is the reason why I connected my device via Dell monitor - I hoped it will allow me to bypass mobo setting for just that one device.

I will appreciate your help in understanding what "Off During Standby" mean then? As for me it is totally not working the way I expected. Can I somehow disable power via Dell's USB hub when monitor goes standby?
