we will pass from an active/passive DC to an active/active DC.

For synchronous replication we will use VPLEX Metro and we will be using Oracle RAC stretched cluster between DCs and VPLEX Witness.

My question is what would be the role of RecoverPoint in my scenario? It is really nedeed? which benefits will provide me?
