I have a new HDD that I purchased a few years ago but never got around to installing in an older XPS 8500. I now want to install it as a second HDD for my XPS 8920. How can I tell if this drive will work in my current XPS 8920? I have searched but not able to find anything.

The new HDD is a 1.0 TB SATA 64MB Cache Western Digital Blue - model WD10EZEX
