Alpha R2, won't start after BIOS update
Went on to Dell driver update site and download latest BIOS which installed OK restart fail with these steps
1. 180w power supply not recognized (rebooted)
2. Restart actually reached the Alienware screen then frozen
3, 3rd attempt power on light just flashes once and nothing else happens
4. Will not boot from an external drive
Cannot reboot unit is dead and is only 18 months old.BIOS
Sorry I ever updated the

Same happened to me, is there any fix? I don't know the BIOS version it had before :(

Thanks for your reply! It won't turn ON, light turns on and then it turns offimmediately.

Try a CMOS reset.

Thanks for the reply! I did, and the color of the light changed but the computer still behaves the same. Any other ideas?

I’m having the same issue. I was installing the bios update then it froze. The it died. No power at all
