Dell (Intel) S3610 SSD has 10,064 Power On Hours at SMART
My Dell (Intel) S3610 SSD has 10,064 Power On Hours according to Intel SSD Toolbox, Crystal Disk Info and HDTune. That would be over a whole year of 24/7 usage. It's the ID 09 of SMART. Is that a "RAW" value or the actual hours? Thanks a lot.

My S3610's show ~18k hours, but these are not new drives and I assume these numbers are correct. Intel's SSD Toolbox show the same number as other tools. I would recommend checking periodically to see if the number counts up as expected, ie, 24hrs/day ;]
It's possible that your drive was powered on but unused. The main thing to check is the drive life remaining, which looks good. The write count is also very low, and indicates the drive is essentially unused (for reference, my drives have ~70k write count and still show 100% life remaining). Your drive is also showing 16 power cycles vs my ~50, so unless you can account for all of those, it's likely your drive sat unused in a server for a year (which got rebooted maybe a dozen times) and was later pulled during upgrade or decommission. If it was me, I wouldn't be too concerned unless you are sure the drive should have been brand new from Dell or authorized reseller.

Thanks for your reply. The S3610 should last over 43,800 hours and 3 full DWD. With 100% life remaining, your drive looks great too. You are right that it's said to be sitting in a server without doing anything. I guess I should not worry indeed. Thanks again!
