When booting my Dell Dimension 8250 I got a message saying "Alert! Previous attempts at booting this system have failed at checkpoint [Time]".  Following advice I got from a forum (I forget where) I am now able to get past this error but now the BIOS stops at about 75% and won't finish loading.  I must get this PC working ASAP.  Any ideas?
