I have a Dell B130 with a 160GB Western Digital hard drive.

I wanted to upgrade it to a larger HDD.

I upgraded my BIOS and all firmware to the most current Dell has to offer.

Everything is working fine with the current HDD.

I ordered a 320GB HDD that they stated it was compatible with my Dell in there AD.

I installed it and the BIOS did see the 320GB HDD but lost the CD-ROM+RW.

I reinstall my old HDD and the BIOS could see the CD-ROM+RW as always.

So, they sent me a 250GB hard drive (again saying it was compatible with my Dell).

I installed it and again the BIOS lost the CD-ROM+RW.

So, I'm back to my 160GB HDD.

My question is this "Has anyone been able to install a HDD larger than 160GB and have everything work?"
