Dell Vostro 3560 boot file missing
I turned on my laptop and it showed me a blue screen with this legend;
Your PC needs to be repaired
The boot configuration Data File is missing some required information
File\BCD
Error code 0xc0000034
You´ll need to use the recovery tools on your installation media. if you don´t have any installation media (like a disc or USB device) contact your PC administrator or your PC manufacturer.
Press ESC for UEFI Firmware Settings
soon after that it turns off.
After calling Dell´s chat assistance, I was given instructions to run an ePSA assesment which I did. The result was "All Test Passed" in both the first one and the extended tests.
The agent hinted I might need to re-install Windows from zero, but then our chat session ended.
I bought the computer online and it didn´t come with any operative system backup but one labeled; Resource Media containing Device Drivers and Utilities.
I want to know if there´s any way to restore the equipment to its original state, I am well under the range of the warranty, by the way.
