My Inspiron 6400 crashed while my son was using it. A message appeared that said to contact a technician. Currently when I push the power button, the power comes on, indicator lights are green, but before any boot up or screen activity, it turns itself off. I have the battery in and I am using the powercord as well. I'd like to try to reset the CMOS, but I don't have the manual that shows me how. Can anyone tell me how to locate the jumper to reset it? OR does anyone have any other suggestions? I have a Vista OS.
