Four years ago my son purchased a Dell desktop with Windows ME. He just purchased a new Dell Dimension 3000 and this is what he wants to do. All the songs he downloaded onto his old computer he wants to "copy" onto the harddrive of his new on. How would this be accomplished?

 

We questioned different people an received conflicting methods to to this. My son and I are not very knowledgeable with computer lingo, terms, etc., so please help us with that in mind. Also, can the cable, and any other type device required, be purchased at a local Staples, or similiar store?
