My name is Arun. I have one MX7000 chassis with below configuration

MX740C Blade - 2 Qty

MX5018n Fabric in A & B slot with  VTL mode

MX5016 fabric

Chassis have inbuilt  16 Hard disk for used as storage

VMware is installed on the top of the server

 

I want to map the storage with blades. There is two option1. Enclosure Assignment Mode, 2. Drive Assignment mode

In first mode storage will map to single host and in other mode we can map specific driver to among the host.

 

Final result is storage is act  as independent  data store on vmware and we can use cluster feature. Is there any way to configure the storage as a centralized storage and map to host
