Outlook contacts\activities and EX archiving question

If you open up a contact within outlook and select the Activities tab-does anyone know if it will still list items that have been archived by EX?

Terry,First of all, I'm not able to replicate the issue you're experiencing with the Contacts/Activities tab.I do however, know of a workaround for you.- Open Search plugin- Select mailbox you plan on searching (if you had Admin Privileges)- Enter the following in the 'Search For Words' section:xvmsgclass:1This will bring back a listing of archived contacts for the user selected.Alternatively, you can search to see which contacts have been archived by not defining a mailbox.Hope this helps...Chris

Thanks Chris. I haven't gone live with EX yet, but I have some users that this would create a problem for.In case it wasn't clear-I'm not talking about archiving the contacts. If you open a contact & go to the 'activities' tab, you will see a lot of interactions with that contact.If old emailw are part of this list, will the items disappear when the emails are archived?
