Hi everyone, I just have a few questions. I just ordered a new Dell for myself and I want to fix up my old Dell Dim 2400 for my son who is 12. I know how to reinstall XP but it seems like I remember that they put limits on how many times you can reinstall that particular CD (the one that came with my computer) on it? Am i remembering this correctly??

Also, we are on dial up internet so if I choose to run it without SP 2 would that cause any problems?? Whenever I try to D/L something big and dont stay right with the computer of course my dial up provider boots me off. I know he might not be able to do all the things he could do with SP 2 but he is mostly going to use it for his games and such. Not a lot of internet,, mostly looking up cheat codes.

I am backing up all of my programs and documents on CD first so I can put them back in easily. Do you have any other suggestions to make this easier for me? Thanks very much in advance for any tips or advice you can give me..
