I have an Inspiron 3501 that stopped working.  While I was using it it suddenly shut off (screen dark, backlight on keyboard off, completely off). Power supply not connected at the time but battery level was ok.  Now it will not restart or run even with power supply connected. Could this be a battery connection issue?  Machine was purchased more than a year ago so warranty is expired.
