My 2 yr old inspiron 8200 has developed a faulty touchpad. Having gone through all the faqs it's safe to say it needs replacing. I have e-mailed Dell support twice, told them that I have tried ALL the troubleshooting guides and then they directed me to the troubleshooting guide TWICE!!!!! And no further replies!!! does anyone know if this can be replaced - the model no on it is 56AAA1897A, there's a similar one on ebay for sale but different model number.

Dell, can you send me a new one?? Please help, I've just bought another 8600 from you!!!!

Can I fit another generic one??
