My inspirion 1000 has a password on the PhoenixBIOS and I can'r get around it 

 

HELP

 

 

I bought the laptop second hand from a pawn shop and they didn't have the owner's cd or anything.  I chatted with dell and they can't help me unless I have it transferred to me.  I don't know who owned it previously.  The won't ell me or contact the previous owner either.

 

I am dead in the water unless someone out there can help me.
