When I attempt to install my newly purchased Dell 3300 wireless printer adapter for my 962 printer I receive the following error message:

“Wireless printer adapter was not able to join network”.

I have followed all of the steps suggested in the Dell troubleshooting guide and in previous messages located in these boards: uninstalled the printer, downloaded the updated installation set for the printer adapter (R89456.EXE), turned off firewall, etc. 

I have tried to override the automatic setup but am unsure how to locate the channel number my wireless network is on.  I currently have the 2350 router which is working beautifully with my I6000.

Most suggestions I have found are geared toward the “can’t communicate with the printer” issues that arise once the adapter is installed.  I can’t get past the simple install of the adapter! 

Has anyone had success with the 3300?  Should I return it, stick with the trusty USB cable and move on?

Any suggestions?
