Does anyone know where I can find a solution for extend a Device in SQL Cluster Enabler whithout shutdown activity ?

Notes:

** - I am running Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise.

** - I am running  MSCS Cluster enabler.

** - I am running SQL Server 2008 R2 with instances, every cluster members manage one or more instances.

** - I am using Powerpath (5.5 x64)

** - I am using Solution Enabler : 7.3.1

** - I am using EMC Cluster Enabler SRDF Plugin 4.1.2.8

GeoCluster (4 nodes+2 vmax) :

• 2 nodes with vmax1 geographic site 1
• 2 nodes with vmax2 greoraphic site 2

  The solution with shutdown activity :

1. Shutdown Application
2. Remove device for Cluster ressource SRDF/CE
3. Remove device for Cluster ressource MSCS
4. Take Offline Disk Ressource
5. Split SRDF
6. Kill Mirror SRDF
7. Extend Device
8. Create Mirror SRDF
9. Synchronize Mirror SRDF
10. Extend volume in w2k8R2
11. Bring Online ressource
12. addin Device for Cluster ressource MSCS
13. Reconfigure SRDF/CE.
14. Restart applications.
