Hi All,

I need to configure SRDF over FCIP between two different DC. I have never come across FCIP so please assume I know nothing about it. However, I have read some docs and seen discussions in this forum to understand how FCIP works. Now I come up with few questions and need your help in sorting it out.

1. FCIP Setup

2. In our Cisco MDS switch, I see FCIP is enabled (FCIP Profiles are created but not FCIP interfaces) but do not see any MPS Module GigE or IPS Module Gig ports. How to get start with?

3. Have read in cisco docs about Virtual (E)ISL between GigE Ports. As it says Virtual, it doesn't need manual intervention to create it. Does it?

4. In our VMax I do see RAs are configured but doesn't have any SRDF setup. Do we need to convert this RA to RE(GigE)?
