Dell Pro AI Studio is a comprehensive, on-device AI toolkit that empowers businesses to build, deploy, and manage AI applications directly on Dell PCs, offering real-time performance, cost efficiency, and enhanced data privacy. Unlike traditional cloud-based AI developer environments, it eliminates latency, reduces reliance on costly cloud resources, and ensures sensitive data remains secure by processing tasks locally, while still enabling seamless scalability with hybrid AI capabilities.

Applications created with Dell Pro AI Studio are designed to run exclusively on Dell AI PCs, but configuration requirements vary based on the AI model used to build the application. Models that inference off the NPU require the NPU to have 40 TOPS or greater, and usage varies by silicon brand. There are also select models that inference off select GPUs.

Dell Pro AI Studio accelerates the development cycle by providing pre-converted AI models with associated runtime components and Dell’s proprietary AI Framework that manages model execution and interaction with an OpenAI compliant API, allowing organizations to move from prototype to production much faster.

Once built, the AI app, models, and framework are deployed locally by the organization’s admin.

Dell Pro AI Studio models packaged with Microsoft Intune provisioning scripts are available for download via Dell Management Portal. These can be used for manual deployment along with the AI app via the company’s Intune tenant.
