Global Senior Vice President of Sales, Unstructured Data Solutions
Karl Korbus has over 20 years of storage industry experience with a history of building and sustaining large sales organizations. As the leader of Dell Technologies Unstructured Data Solutions global sales activities, he is responsible for driving significant revenue growth and ensuring the successful adoption of Dell Technologies Unstructured Data portfolio, which consists of PowerScale, the industry’s leading scale-out NAS storage solution, as well as ECS (Elastic Cloud Storage), Dell Technologies cloud storage platform.
Prior to his current position, Karl led the Americas sales team for Isilon. Prior to joining Isilon in April of 2008, he was the Director of Sales at Copan Systems. Before Copan, Karl was Vice President of Sales leading the Western half of the US for Sun Microsystems Storage Division. From 1994 to 2005 he served in various different positions, most recently Central Region Vice President of Sales, at StorageTek Corporation.
Karl holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Northern Illinois University and received his MS in Accounting from Depaul University.
