The security of our customers’ personal information and systems is of the utmost importance to Dell Technologies. Unfortunately, over recent years fraudulent scams have become prevalent across the industry, and we have taken steps to protect you.
If you feel you have experienced any of the suspicious activity described below, please report it and help our efforts to combat cybercriminals. We’re also working alongside our industry peers and law enforcement to aggressively address fraud.
Vishing & Smishing / Phone Scam
If you have been contacted via phone or text by someone claiming to be from Dell (e.g., technical support, sales inquiry) but believe it may be a scam, please promptly report your interaction to Dell by completing this form. This information is invaluable to Dell in helping us investigate these activities.

If you received a suspicious email from an “@dell.com” email address or identified suspicious activity on your Dell account, please report the activity by completing this form.
Identity Theft
Identity theft occurs when an individual uses your personal information (or that of your business) without your knowledge or consent, generally obtaining financial credit in your name/the name of your business. Dell makes every effort to keep your personal information safe. We maintain policies and programs to detect and prevent fraud that are consistent with industry standards.
To report suspicious transactions or activity regarding your Dell account, or to report a stolen identity used with Dell, please complete this form.
U.S. Federal Trade Commission Fraud Reporting
In addition to reporting phone, phishing/email scams and identify theft to Dell, you can report suspicious phone and phishing/email scams to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov and identity theft incidents can be reported via IdentityTheft.gov.
Impersonation of Dell Providers and Partners
If you are contacted by a person or company claiming to be Dell or a Dell authorized Provider or partner, please confirm their credentials before sharing your personal or business information.
