Dell ObjectScale is the world’s first object storage to support 245TB SSD drives with KIOXIA.¹Built with software-defined Dell ObjectScale running on PowerEdge R7725, this configuration brings breakthrough flash capacity to enterprise object storage in an exceptionally small, high-density footprint.

With support for 40 x 245.76TB NVMe SSDs in a 2U system, customers can achieve 9.83PB of raw capacity, bringing them within reach of 10PB raw in just 2U. That kind of density is especially relevant for AI factories, large-scale analytics, content repositories, cyber resilience strategies and cloud-native data platforms that depend on fast access to massive volumes of unstructured data.

This milestone also reflects the strength of Dell’s collaboration with KIOXIA. In July 2025, KIOXIA announced the industry’s first 245.76TB NVMe SSD, highlighting its value for generative AI, large-scale datasets, vector databases and other data-intensive environments.
