In this video, we demonstrate how to upgrade from SupportAssist Enterprise 4.x to secure connect gateway. Note that you can upgrade to secure connect gateway virtual edition only from SupportAssist Enterprise 4.00.05 or 4.00.06. To begin, click Download now on the banner displayed in SupportAssist Enterprise.
After the files are downloaded, click Update now. If the upgrade is successful, the SupportAssist Enterprise page becomes inaccessible. Note, you must wait for approximately 30-40 minutes after the upgrade before you can access the secure connect gateway user interface.
To access secure connect gateway, open a new tab and go to https:// ip address of the virtual appliance:5700. On the sign in page, enter the same root account username and password used in SupportAssist Enterprise and click Sign In. Read and agree to the end user license agreement.
