In this video we will demonstrate how to replace the 3.5-inch Hard drive on ChengMing 3991 system. Before removing the hard drive, read through the safety guidelines to protect your computer from potential damage and ensure your personal safety.

Turn off your computer and disconnect all attached peripherals. To begin with, loosen the two captive screws that secure the side cover to the computer. Slide the side cover towards the back of the computer And lift the side cover away from the chassis.
Now gently pry the retention tabs to release the front bezel from the system and remove the front bezel from the computer. Now let’s remove the 3.5-inch hard drive.
Disconnect the power and data cables from the connectors on the hard drive. Remove the four screws that secure the hard drive to the chassis. Now, lift the hard drive away from the computer.
You have successfully removed the hard drive. Now, let’s see how to install the hard drive. To begin, align and place the hard drive into the dedicated slot on the computer. Replace the four screws to secure the hard drive to the chassis. Now, connect the power and data cables to the connectors on the hard drive.
In order to install the front bezel, position the bezel to align the tabs with the slots on the chassis. Press the bezel until the release tabs click into place. Align the side cover with the guidelines on the chassis. Slide the side cover towards the front of the system to install the side cover.
