Windows App

- It is recommended that you migrate to the Windows App for continued support, security updates, and uninterrupted access to Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Do not install the Dell Application Store 2602 or earlier after installing this package.
- Do not power off your system until the installation of the operating system is complete.

Add-on installation using On-Prem Wyse Management Suite

1. Download the package, extract the EULA file, and read the license agreement of each vendor and then copy the package exe file to a location.
2. Log in to WMS and In the Apps & Data tab, under App Inventory, click Thin Client.
3. Click Add Windows IoT Enterprise Package file.
The Add Package screen is displayed.
4. To select a file, click Browse and go to the location where your file is located.
5. Click Upload.
3. Go to Apps & Data > App Inventory > Thin Client and ensure that the package entry for uploaded file is present.
4. Go to Apps & Data > App Policies > Thin Client > Add Advanced Policy.
5. Enter the policy name.
6. From the Group drop-down list, select the group. Select the Include All Subgroups checkbox to apply the policy to subgroups.
7. From the Task drop-down list, select Install Application.
8. From the OS Type drop-down list, select Windows IoT Enterprise.
9. From the Application Click Add App, select package to install, and enter install parameter --silent , and check Reboot
10. Click Save to create a policy.
11. Click Yes to schedule the job.
12. Select any of the following options:
a. Immediately - Server runs the job immediately.
b. On device time zone - Server creates one job for each device time zone and schedules the job to the selected date or time of the device time zone.
c. On selected time zone - Server creates one job to run at the date or time of the designated time zone.
13. You can check the status of the job by going to the Jobs page.
14. On the device, an upgrade notification window is displayed. Click Update Now.
15. Depending on the Package or settings, the device reboots after the installation.
