The Dell MD Storage Array vStorage APIs for Storage Awareness (VASA) Provider is part of a set of extensible APIs that enable VMware vCenter to see the capabilities of MD storage arrays and corresponding datastores.
Download the VASA Provider from the Drivers and Download page at www.support.dell.com: 1. Go to support.dell.com and select the Drivers and Download link. 2. Find your MD storage array model. 3. From the list of available downloads, choose the VASA Provider from the Applications category. 4. Download the executable file to your system.
Installing the VASA Provider: 1. Launch the VASA installation wizard contained in the downloaded package. 2. Review and accept the license agreement, then follow the installation prompts. 3. Once the installation completes, confirm the MD Storage Array VASA Provider appears in the available programs list.
