Symptoms

Cloud link 8.1.1: You notice the following symptoms.

1.However, there is no alarm raised for Cloud link agent cert(Multi-Session CA) expired. 

You can find cert expired by using https://<Cloudlink node IP>:1194

2.The current new renewal cert is only for 24 hours rather than a 1-year time validity. 

3. There is an error pop up while you run the renewed cert, unable to renew the certificate without decrypt the devices. 

Cause

Cloud link 8.x bug causing the unable to renew the certificate without decrypt the devices.

And also, after all if you renew the certificate, it is 24 hr validity.

Resolution

Cloud link 8.x bug is going to be fixed in the Cloud link 8.1.2 release.

Plan to upgrade to Cloud link 8.1.2 release to fix this issue if released by this time (ETA Mar 25th week of 2025)

 Open a case to assist with this issue through support.
