PowerPath informa el evento 4 - Fuente: PowerPath: error de EMC PowerPath: MPAPI : Error: Se produjo un error interno.
Este evento se informa cada hora en el visor de eventos de Windows.
A pesar de que el evento se informa cada hora, no se observa ningún problema con PowerPath y la funcionalidad del clúster.
El evento comenzó a ocurrir después de la actualización de PowerPath de 5.5 a 5.7 SP2.
Cause
Los clientes para MPAPI son Powermt, el servicio de agente de host y el servicio Powermig hace que el evento ocurra en el visor de eventos.
Resolution
Deshabilite la característica de registro automático del host y vea si se solucionó el problema.
Para deshabilitar el registro automático del host, repare la instalación de PowerPath mediante la CLI si la versión de PowerPath es 5.7 SP4 o anterior:
C:\EMCPower.X64.signed.5.7.SP2.bxxx.exe /s /v"/L*v C:\logs\PPrepair.log REINSTALL=ALL AUTO_HOST_REGISTRATION=0 NO_REBOOT=1"
En PowerPath 6.0, el registro automático del host se puede deshabilitar mediante el comando powermt:
Si el problema persiste, actualice PowerPath a 6.0 o posterior, ya que hay posibilidades de que los archivos dll se vuelvan incoherentes durante la actualización y PowerPath 6.0 no debería tener este problema.
