Symptoms

Note: Compliance Reporter was disabled by default in v10.1. To enable Compliance Reporter, reference How to Enable Compliance Reporter for Dell Data Security Servers.

Cause

There is a limit of 97 characters in Compliance Reporter's "Schedule Report Email" recipient’s field.

Resolution

Suggested workaround:

  • Create multiple duplicate reports and add the email addresses up to the limit for each report.
  • Create a distribution list on the email server and put the distribution list address in the field.
  • Send it to an address, then set a rule in that recipient's email client to forward the email to other recipients.
