Symptoms

L'applicazione del rollup del sistema operativo della piattaforma NVE 2022 R4 v6 ha esito negativo durante il passaggio 17 di 18, con errore "Failed to start NetWorker Management Console".

Il comando journalctl -xe mostra:

Feb 23 15:51:45 NVE_host systemd[1]: gst.service: Control process exited, code=exited status=1

Cause

Il servizio GST tenta di avviarsi prima dell'esecuzione del servizio client NetWorker (nsrexecd). 
ERROR: NetWorker client (nsrexecd) is not running

Resolution

Avviare manualmente il servizio nsrexecd utilizzando il comando: 
systemctl start nsrexecd
Monitorare il file /nsr/logs/daemon.raw per individuare eventuali errori relativi all'avvio del servizio nsrexecd. Consultare gli articoli della Knowledge Base:
