Symptoms

VM 복구 테스트를 시도할 때 VMWare 오류가 발생했습니다. VSI를 사용하는 vCenter에서 버전 10.7 이하에서 오류가 보고될 수 있습니다. "작업을 완료할 수 없습니다. 자세한 내용은 이벤트 로그를 참조하십시오. 임시 VM 크기를 검색할 수 없으므로 VM 복원에 사용되는 임시 리소스가 정리됩니다. "

10.7의 VSI 오류

 

Cause

영향을받는 버전 :

  • PowerStoreOS: 모든 버전
  • vSphere: 모든 버전
  •  Virtual Storage Integrator:  VSI 1.7 이하

 

PowerStore 스냅샷 중에 실행 중인 VM이 시스템을 복구하기 위해 할당된 공간을 관리할 수 없는 경우  전원이 꺼진 VM으로 수행된 일부 테스트에서도 이 설명이 확인되었습니다. 

Resolution

이 문제는 향후 VSI 릴리스(10.8 이상)에서 해결될 예정입니다.   이 문서는 VMware vSphere Web Client용 업데이트된 VSI를 dell.com/support 를 통해 다운로드할 수 있게 되면 업데이트 됩니다.

 

해결 방법:

  • 필요한 가상 머신 복원 날짜의 스냅샷을 사용하여 PowerStore에서 보기 볼륨을 수동으로 생성합니다.
  • VCenter에서 새 서명을 사용하여 VMFS 마운트 
  • VM에서 복구 볼륨으로 
  • View Volume 마운트 해제 및 삭제
