Riepilogo:

  • Questo articolo introduce la funzione "disk beacon" per i sistemi DD3300; introdotto in DDOS 6.2.x.
  • Viene emesso il comando "disk beacon 1.n" (tramite SSH/CLI) e viene visualizzato un LED di identificazione del disco lampeggiante sul disco corrispondente.
  • La numerazione degli slot fisici (basato su 0; 1.0) su DD3300 non corrisponde alla numerazione degli slot DDOS che inizia da 1.1
  • Questa funzione aiuta nella risoluzione dei problemi e nella sostituzione dei dischi difettosi su DD3300. 


Si applica a:

  • DD3300 (>= DDOS 6.2.x)

Soluzione:

  • È possibile segnalare 12 dischi anteriori (1.1 -> 1.12) o 1 disco posteriore (1.13).
    • 4 dischi interni (1.15 -> 1.18) non supportano il beaconing.
  • Sintassi dei comandi DD-CLI: 
    • disk beacon 1.<slot number> OR <serial number>
  • Per arrestare la pressione del Beacon: 
    • Ctrl + C

Per segnalare un disco in base al numero di serie:

> Raccogliere il numero di serie dell hardware fisico utilizzando il comando "disk show hardware detailed".

Additional Information

Se un beacon del disco è già attivo su un altro disco (da un'altra sessione SSH), il sistema richiede di arrestare il beacon attivo, come mostrato di seguito:

# disk beacon 1.13
A beacon command is already running on disk 1.7.

Beacon on disk 1.7 terminated.
