Samenvatting:

  • Dit artikel introduceert de functie 'schijfbaken' voor DD3300-systemen; geïntroduceerd in DDOS 6.2.x.
  • Het commando 'disk beacon 1.n' wordt uitgegeven (met behulp van SSH/CLI) en resulteert in een schijfidentificatie-LED die knippert op de bijbehorende schijf.
  • De nummering van het fysieke slot (op basis van 0; 1,0) op de DD3300 komt niet overeen met de nummering van het DDOS-slot die begint bij 1,1
  • Deze functie helpt bij het oplossen van problemen en het vervangen van defecte schijven op de DD3300. 


Van toepassing op:

  • DD3300 (>= DDOS 6.2.x)

Oplossing:

  • 12x voorste schijven (1.1 -> 1.12) of 1x achterste schijf (1.13) kunnen worden gebakend.
    • 4x interne schijven (1,15 -> 1,18) bieden geen ondersteuning voor beaconing.
  • Syntaxis voor DD-CLI-opdracht: 
    • disk beacon 1.<slot number> OR <serial number>
  • Om het baken te stoppen, drukt u op: 
    • Ctrl + C

Additional Information

Als een schijfbaken al actief is op een andere schijf (van een andere SSH-sessie), dan vraagt het systeem om het actieve baken te stoppen, zoals hier te zien is:

# disk beacon 1.13
