Symptoms

Na de implementatie van ViPR SRM kon het gecentraliseerde beheersysteem geen verbinding maken met een van de hosts, inclusief localhost.
De volgende foutmelding is te zien in de catalina-logboeken van Tomcat:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: hostname can't be null

 

Cause

Dit wordt veroorzaakt door het gebruik van een onderstrepingsteken "_" in de hostnaam.

 

Resolution

Dell Technologies Engineering onderzoekt een oplossing voor een toekomstige release. Gebruik in de tussentijd geen onderstrepingstekens "_" in de hostnaam.
