Symptoms

Změna byla, že uzel byl restartován. Tato zpráva se nemusí zobrazit pro všechny jednotky, může se zobrazit pouze jeden nebo dva disky v clusteru.

Uživatel se zobrazí níže uvedená výstraha nebo něco podobného a chce vědět, co problém způsobilo a zda byla vadná jednotka: 
Resolved: The write-cache for the drive in the following location is enabled: Chassis Serial Number JXXXXXXXXXXXX1, Node 4, Sled E, Slot 1, Type HDD, LNUM 0, Serial XXXXXXXX. OneFS disabled the write-cache to comply with recommended drive settings. Replace the drive according to the instructions in the H400 Drive Replacement Guide.

POZNÁMKA: K tomu dochází pouze u clusterů Gen6.

Cause

Problém je ve výchozím nastavení zakázán mezipaměti zápisu na disku a během restartování se zdá, že je mezipaměť pro zápis povolena. Systém hlásí tyto informace, které jsou obvykle kosmetické a mohou být při kontrole hodnoty Write Cache Enabled ignorovány.

Tento problém je vyřešen v budoucí verzi oneFS. Technický tým společnosti Dell pracuje na změně oznámení událostí.

Resolution

Spuštěním níže uvedených příkazů potvrďte stav disku a deaktivujte mezipaměť pro zápis na disk:     
  1. Ověřte stav disků a zkontrolujte, zda nejsou některé disky v dobrém stavu:       
# isi_for_array 'isi devices list | grep -iv "healthy" | grep -iv "L3"
  1. Zkontrolujte, zda je zakázána mezipaměť zápisu na disk:       
# camcontrol modepage da<drive da number> -m 8 -P 0
# camcontrol modepage da<drive da number>-m 8 -P 1
# camcontrol modepage da<drive da number>-m 8 -P 2
# camcontrol modepage da<drive da number>-m 8 -P 3

Please check the value associated with the WCE Parameter for each of the commands. If WCE is set to 0, then we can safely ignore and quiet the alert.
