Descripción general: El modo de bloqueo del sistema ayuda a evitar cambios no deseados después de la configuración inicial de un sistema. Esta característica puede ayudar a proteger el sistema de cambios no intencionales o maliciosos. El modo de bloqueo se aplica a las actualizaciones de configuración y firmware. Cuando el sistema está bloqueado, se bloquea cualquier intento de cambiar la configuración del sistema. Cuando el sistema está en modo de bloqueo, cualquier intento de cambiar la configuración crítica del sistema genera un mensaje de error.

Cómo configurar el modo de bloqueo del sistema mediante Dell EMC OpenManage Integration para VMware vCenter.

    1. Inicie sesión en la interfaz de usuario
de vCenter 2. En Inventario, vista de hosts y máquinas virtuales, expanda el centro de datos y el clúster según corresponda.
    3. Haga clic con el botón secundario en un host y seleccione OMIVV host Actions. 
    4. Haga clic en Configurar modo de bloqueo del sistema.
    5. Haga clic en el botón de opción Turn On y, luego, en OK.
    6. Haga clic en OK en la página
de confirmación 7. Confirme que el modo de bloqueo se haya habilitado iniciando sesión en la interfaz de usuario de DRAC del host.

Ya no es posible realizar acciones como actualizar el firmware.
