Symptoms

Cause

In certain conditions, metrics collector may run out of connections resulting in less or no connections available to handle Metrics related REST queries. This may result in slowness of queries that may take up to 3 minutes at a time. Since there is no timeout implemented, queries may pile-up that may result in the consumption of more database resources.
