Symptoms

이 예에서는 NTP 서버에 연결할 수 있지만 계층 값이 6으로 설정되어 있기 때문에 Unity가 서버와 동기화할 수 없습니다. 이는 명령 출력 svc_ntp -i 에서 확인할 수 있습니다. NTP 서버의 줄 시작 부분에는 '*' 기호가 없습니다.

Cause

다음 /etc/ntp.conf줄에는 ntpd가 6 이상의 계층 값을 갖는 NTP 서버와 동기화되지 않도록 하는 줄이 있습니다.

Resolution

 
이 문제를 해결하기 위한 두 가지 옵션이 있습니다.
  1. 5 이하의 계층 값으로 구성된 NTP 서버를 사용합니다.  
10분 정도 기다린 다음 명령을 실행 svc_ntp -s 하여 ntpd가 NTP 서버와 동기화되는지 확인합니다. 출력에는 NTP 항목의 왼쪽에 별표가 있어야 하며, st(stratum value)는 5 이상이어야 합니다.

  1. 이 방법은 루트 액세스가 필요하므로 Dell 기술 지원 부서 또는 라이센스가 부여된 서비스 공급업체에 문의하여 파일을 편집 /etc/ntp.conf 하고 다음 줄의 값을 변경하여 기본값인 5보다 큰 계층 값을 지원합니다.

지원되는 최대 값은 15입니다.

# cp /etc/ntp.conf /cores/service/user/ntp.conf.bak
# sed -i -e 's/tos orphan 6/tos orphan 7/g' /etc/ntp.conf
# diff /etc/ntp.conf /cores/service/user/ntp.conf.bak

그런 다음 다음 다음 명령을 실행합니다


svc_ntp -s
. 참고: Unity OE 업그레이드 후 값 /etc/ntp.conf 이 tos orphan 원래 값으로 되돌아갈 수 있습니다.

참고: 시간 차이가 너무 큰 경우 변경 사항을 적용하려면 SP(Storage Processor) 재부팅이 필요할 수 있습니다.
