Symptoms

NetWorker può essere avviato utilizzando il comando "nsrexecd", ma l'utilizzo dei comandi systemctl ha costantemente esito negativo: 
# systemctl status networker
...
system[1]: networker.service: start operation timed out. Terminating.
system[1]: networker.service: Failed with result ‘timeout’.
system[1]: Failed to start EMC NetWorker. A backup and restoration software package..

Cause

La cartella networker.service era vuota:
/sys/fs/cgroup/devices/system.slice/networker.service

Non è noto quale sia stato il motivo per cui questa cartella è diventata vuota.

Resolution

Soluzione alternativa:
Copiare i file networker.service da un sistema client NetWorker funzionante su un sistema operativo simile sul sistema interessato e ricaricare i daemon: 
systemctl daemon-reload
systemctl restart remote-fs.target
systemctl restart local-fs.target

Risoluzione:
Se il comportamento si ripete, contattare il Supporto Dell per indagare sulla causa principale.
