Symptoms

O NetWorker pode ser iniciado usando o comando "nsrexecd", mas usando comandos systemctl falha consistentemente: 
# systemctl status networker
...
system[1]: networker.service: start operation timed out. Terminating.
system[1]: networker.service: Failed with result ‘timeout’.
system[1]: Failed to start EMC NetWorker. A backup and restoration software package..

Cause

A pasta networker.service estava vazia:
/sys/fs/cgroup/devices/system.slice/networker.service

Não se sabe o que causou o esvaziamento dessa pasta.

Resolution

Solução temporária:
Copie os arquivos networker.service de um sistema client NetWorker em funcionamento em um sistema operacional semelhante no sistema afetado e recarregue os daemons: 
systemctl daemon-reload
systemctl restart remote-fs.target
systemctl restart local-fs.target

Resolução:
Se o comportamento se repetir, entre em contato com o Suporte Dell para investigar a causa raiz.
