PowerEdge: R7525 VMware VM fails to power on with BIOS 2.14.1

Symptoms
After updating the BIOS on PowerEdge R7525 to version 2.14.1, a virtual machine power on failure may occur when using NVIDIA A40/L40 GPUs with VMware.
The same virtual machine can be powered on with the old version of BIOS.
Example error messages as below:
This issue was only reported on R7525 with Milan (7003 Series) CPU. However, it may also impact the other 15G AMD platforms.
Cause
Certain AMD reference code added to the 2.14.1 BIOS causes the issue.
Resolution
Fix:
Update the BIOS to 2.15.2 or newer.
Update the BIOS to 2.15.2 or newer.
