Symptoms

L'interfaccia utente di DDBoostUser mostra che la password utente DDBoost non è sincronizzata nel dashboard ACM.   
 

  • Data Domain mostra che la password utente DDBoost non è sincronizzata nel dashboard ACM. 
  • La password DDboost funziona e corrisponde alla password comune ACM. 
  • Nessun backup Avamar ha esito negativo in Data Domain
  • Avamar non si lamenta dell'assenza di comunicazione con Data Domain.

 

 

Cause

Il nome utente di DDBoost non è denominato "DDboostUser" in quanto è predefinito in ACM.

Per esempio:

DDBoost_User ACM utilizza "DDBoostUser" per eseguire l'autenticazione in Data Domain. Poiché il nome utente creato nel Data Domain del cliente è diverso da quello previsto, ha esito negativo e contrassegna l'utente DDBoost come Out Of Sync.

La server.log ACM mostra il seguente errore:

16042:2024-04-23 19:34:18,098 INFO  [Thread-88485]-util.SSHUtil: Creating session using SSH parameters:          Host     : [x.x.x.x]       User     : [DDBoostUser]        Password : [**********]
17537:2024-04-23 19:34:23,230 ERROR [Thread-88485]-dashboard.DataDomainDashboard: Auth failed to DDBoost user, so marking DDBoost user as OOS. 
17538:2024-04-23 19:34:23,230 ERROR [Thread-88485]-dashboard.DataDomainDashboard: Exception occurred while connecting to DDBoost using sshUtil. 17539:com.emc.vcedpa.common.exception.ApplianceException: Protection storage DDBoost password is out of sync. Please update the password.

Resolution

Aggiornare o creare un nome utente DDBoost che corrisponda al nome utente previsto da ACM.

Additional Information

Se l'utente ddboost viene modificato, modificare "DDBoost user" su Avamar in modo che corrisponda al "DDBoost user" recuperato da Data Domain.

un. Accedere all'interfaccia utente di Avamar Administrator.

b. Server --> Scheda Server Management --> Selezionare il nome

host Data Domain c. Azioni -->Modificare il sistema

Data Domain d. Immettere il valore "DDBoost user" corretto nel campo user-name.
