VxRail: ESXi Host Stuck "Initializing Firmware Interfaces" when Rebooting

Symptoms
The post shows stuck at initializing firmware interfaces when logging in to the iDRAC and viewing the remote console.
Cause
Possible hardware issue
Resolution
- Open iDRAC and review the system event log for any hardware errors.
Select Maintenance > System Event Log:
- Verify that the virtual disk for the operating system is healthy:
Go to Storage > Virtual Disks:
- If there are no hardware errors in the above checks, reboot the host. From the main dashboard page, select Reset System.
- If the host is still stuck after the reboot attempt, power it off and drain the residual power from the host.
- Power the host off.
- Disconnect the power cables from the host.
- Hold down the power button on the host for 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cables and power the host on.
- If issue continues, generate a TSR following How to collect a TSR and open a support request.
