Symptoms
The user added a new initialization parameter.
When adding an initialization parameter to a job with a comma in the string, it is malformed. The correct string is:
AUDIT_TRAIL=DB,EXTENDED
However, after the job is saved, it puts the 'EXTENDED' part on a separate line.
AUDIT_TRAIL=DB,
EXTENDED
The DBA has tried all of the common escape characters to make the comma appear (backslash, double comma, etc.).

Cause
This is a unique case where the initialization parameters have to be shown separately in a new line as per the requirement. However, the issue here was that the UI has parsed the single string that the server sends onto a new line. Initially the comma separator was being used to split the strings and put them in as a new line.
Resolution
A solution exists for this issue, but intervention from EMC technical support personnel is required to install a hotfix. Contact the EMC Customer Support Center or your service representative for technical assistance and quote this article ID.
