Cause
During the update process, the function used to gather the system inventory returns a null variable, resulting in a null pointer reference error.
The function in question is contained within the update package itself and affects all PowerEdge Leveraged Platforms equipped with a Broadcom 5719 or 5720.

Resolution
This issue will be resolved in the next firmware release, scheduled for December 2024.
As a workaround, run the .bin file as root.
