Configuring Secure SMTP Email server for Alerts is available from Unisphere For PowerMax version 10.3.0 onwards. 

 

Steps:

 

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Select Security > SMTP Email Server for Alerts.

  3. Type a Server (IP or Hostname) name or address.

  4. Type a Port number.

  5. Type the Sender E-mail Address.

  6. If you want to use StartTLS, complete the following steps:

    1. Select Secure SMTP with StartTSL.

    2. Type a Username.

    3. Type a Password.

    4. Click Choose File.

    5. Select the root CA certificate of the email server, and click Open.

  7. Click Apply.
